The Richard the Lionheart Route is a historic tourist route in the western Limousin that winds between the Massif des Feuillardiers in the north and the Pays Arédien in the south of Haute-Vienne.
King Richard the Lionheart's Road
This route creates a global theme for visits between different sites: castles, medieval churches, abbey churches, while discovering the Limousin countryside. The emblematic image that was necessary to identify this circuit was naturally King Richard, master in the 12th century of our territory, who fought against many vassals before dying at the foot of the castle of Châlus Chabrol.
